Title: Hybrid Mechanics – The best of both worlds

Abstract

Despite the significant aesthetic and convenience advantage of aligners over fixed appliances, it is known that efficiency is a point that still needs to be studied and worked on.

Always seeking to achieve the efficiency and excellence of treatments, the lecture aims to show the most and least predictable types of movements with the aligners, justifying the cases in which the use of auxiliary devices, mini-implants and even fixed braces will be necessary, to seek efficiency in aligner treatments.

Furthermore, the objective is to present, through clinical cases, aesthetic solutions for complex cases, including showing the protocols I use to coordinate the use of these different tools together in a predictable and feasible way.
